On June 19, during the 6th Qingdao Multinational Corporation Leaders Summit, Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan¡¯s JFE Shoji Corporation in Qingdao. Prior to the signing ceremony, Mr. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group, met with Mr. Yasushi Mizunami, Managing Director of JFE Shoji Corporation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the iron ore business and broader cooperation.

During the meeting, Chairman Zhang Bo introduced the progress of the Simandou Winning Alliance project. He emphasized that Weiqiao Pioneering Group upholds a philosophy of openness and win-win cooperation, and will continue to deepen resource integration. He expressed the Group¡¯s commitment to working closely with partners to explore new opportunities for industrial development, realize resource sharing and complementary strengths, and jointly build a new model of international cooperation.

Managing Director Mizunami expressed his hope that the collaboration would strongly promote the development of the iron ore business, enhance industry competitiveness, and contribute to the stability and growth of the global mineral resources market.
