On May 7, Zhang Zhengbiao, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Soochow University, led a delegation to visit Weiqiao Pioneering Group for an exchange and cooperation meeting. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, held in-depth discussions with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in detailed discussions on strengthening comprehensive strategic university-enterprise cooperation, developing new models for talent cultivation, deepening the integration of technological and industrial innovation, and promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements.

Vice President Zhang Zhengbiao spoke highly of Weiqiao Pioneering Group¡¯s corporate culture and its outstanding accomplishments in the integration of industry, academia, research, and application. He expressed Soochow University¡¯s willingness to build on the existing solid foundation of industrial-technical collaboration to further expand cooperation in talent development, scientific research breakthroughs, and joint platform building.

Before the meeting, Vice President Zhang Zhengbiao and his delegation visited the Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall, the 600kA intelligent aluminum electrolysis plant, and the Weiqiao Lightweight Base.
